MEET DANNY MANIC

Danny Manic makes acoustic rock for people figuring life out as they go.

Blending the storytelling of alternative folk with the energy and honesty of pop-punk and ’90s rock, his songs turn difficult experiences into big choruses, intimate acoustic moments and something ultimately hopeful.

Music has been a constant throughout Danny’s life. After discovering at sixteen that his name had been changed as a baby, he spent much of his twenties searching for a sense of identity and stability, including periods of homelessness. Songwriting became somewhere he could make sense of all of it — but the songs that came out of those years aren't only about surviving them.

From the broke-but-laughing “Invisible Cars” and introspection of “Hourglass” to the optimism of “We Can Live,” Danny writes about the strange, messy reality of being human: relationships, sleepless nights, having no money, starting again, and finding reasons to keep moving.

His debut EP, We Can Live, brings those ideas together. At its heart is a simple belief: life doesn't have to be perfect before you're allowed to enjoy it, connect with people or believe something better is possible.

We can live.
